Scouting is a fun and rewarding activity that will change your son’s life and make him a more responsible, well-trained adult. Our troop is scout-led, but you should be willing to involve yourself in your son’s scouting activities and be there to support and celebrate his achievements and advancements. If you and your son are looking for a low-commitment activity, something that just fills the time between his other activities, Scouting probably isn’t right for your family.
We believe a well-rounded boy makes time for all of the commitments in his life: family, school, community, worship/religion, band, sports, hobbies, and Scouting. Our program is flexible, allowing time for each boy’s other commitments, but we do expect boys to make time for Scouting.
